Pack of (1) Large polished solid brass swivel bolt snap 3/4" square eye are manufactured by Han Lien in Taiwan, the best kept secret in the dog products industry, used by most of the large companies for their dog leashes. We've used these for 10 years, on our most popular RuffGrip K9 dog leashes, which are made for dogs who pull. The square eye keeps our leather flat, and the snap straight, keeping wear to a minimum, unlike a round eye snap. An excellent quality snap, these large snaps handle a 49 lb dog up to 165lb (tested) dog pulling on a dog leash. Actually we pulled a Ford F150 with one of our dog leashes to test the snap strength. Solid brass holds up in salt water and against the elements better than the nickel played brass and doesn't wear out as easily. We switched over to these and have been very satisfied, not one has failed, which has not been our experience with nickel plated brass.
