Description

FireTrap Blanket (Fire Barrier Duct Wrap) is a high temperature insulation product which is specially designed to trap heat generated by dryer and residential kitchen exhaust duct and maintain room temperature in its periphery. It is also applicable for passive fireproofing of cable, pipes, Duct and conduit. It provides excellent insulation in a non-combustible blanket product form.
Core material of FireTrap Blanket is high temperature ceramic fiber, which can resist temperature up to 2300F (1260C). This core insulation blanket is completely encapsulated in a 0.5 mm aluminium foil fiberglass reinforced scrim covering.
It is firmly stitched with Teflon (PTFE) coated fiberglass yarn so that no particles of ceramic fiber blanket escapes encapsulation. Aluminized fiberglass cloth is wrinkle free cloth. Hence, it will not tear off due to creasing effect and last for long time with highest reuse capability.
This scrim provides additional handling strength as well as protection from moisture absorption and tearing.
