Description

This aftermarket rebuild kit for Delco starter number 1108173 Includes: a set of 12-volt field coils, new armature, American made starter drive, 4 brushes, 4 brush springs, drive end bushing, center support bushing, com. end bushing, 4 pole shoe screws, threaded stud kit, 1 thrust washer. if you are not sure what you need & have a Delco starter number or an original application, I should be able to help you.
For 12-volt conversion;
1 thing to point out about the 12-volt coils. There is only 1 brush wire connection on the 12-volt version. You connect the 1 wire as normal, and then tape the unused connection off to insulate, and just tuck it up out of the way.
